Reformat is necessary when computer is running unstable or facing blue screen. This may cause by the loses of some important files or attacked by viruses.
Steps in format/reformat PC for WINDOW
Make sure you change the first boot drive in BIOS to CD-drive. This is to make sure that the CD is the first to run and not hard disk. You select the BIOS mode by press Del button or F1 button depending on the mainboard itselve.
Put the OS disk or recovery disk into the CD-drive.
Restart your computer.
In the black screen, will appear text "Press any key to Boot from CD-ROM...". Here, you need to press any key on the keyboard in order to boot the CD inserted just now. Wait a few moment to load the CD.
Now, comes to the blue screen and there will be partition creating, deleting option to be chose. Partition is the Local C, Local D and so on that will be seen in the Window.
Now, you can make partition depend on your desire. You can make 1-4 partition for regular hard disk. You can create new partition by press C and you can chose the volume for your partition and ffolloewed by Enter.
Then, chose which partition do you want to install the WINDOW.
Then you can chose file system you want- NTFS or FAT32.
After all thise had done, you just have to wait the hard disk to be formatted and computer will once again restart.
Now, don't press anything when "Press any key to Boot from CD-ROM..." appear. Wait until the WINDOW boot screen to appear. Then the WINDOW is started to be install.
Wait and follow the instruction to chose your preference for the WINDOW.
After the WINDOW is installed and ready to used, next step to be taken is install driver for the computer hardware in order to let all hardware running stable with the WINDOW.
Formatting and installing WINDOW is consider done and ready to be use.
